What is a borehole??

The first step in drilling a borehole is determining the “sweet spot”, the exact location where the borehole will have the best chance of a steady water supply.

Once the location has been determined we will get our drilling rig to the site and start the drilling process.

Boreholes can be drilled in residential, rural and even industrial areas, the depth of boreholes are typically 80m to 120m, but our rigs have the capacity to reach 300m enabling us to go beyond the average depths if needed.

After the borehole has been drilled a steel casing will be inserted for the first 10-30m, depending on the formation. The borehole will then be developed and our rig will extract it’s rods, ensuring that the borehole is ready for step 2.
